Chris has been making furniture since 1990, in the beginning out of necessity when he moved into an unfurnished apartment. The first bed he made is still in use today, now by his son. His work is heavily influenced by the six years he spent studying mechanical engineering and his training in furniture design and construction as well as his love of architecture. His woodworking skills, as well as many of the tools in his shop, were inherited from his grandfathers who were both dedicated craftsmen.
